Our Pledge
Using motorsport to bring hope and happiness to children and youngsters that are living with illness and facing an uncertain future.
At Global Racing Group, we're blessed to be fit and healthy and we're aware of how fortunate we are that we can help our aspiring drivers to develop their skills and make their motorsport dreams come true.
But we also appreciate that there are lots of children and youngsters across the world that don’t currently – or may never have – this kind of opportunity to embrace, particularly if they are unwell and spend prolonged periods in hospital receiving medical treatment. We hold these children and youngsters close to our hearts and they are the catalyst behind our ‘Racing for Good’ program that aims to bring hope and happiness to those that are living with illness and facing an uncertain future. Through our open wheel, GT, rally and rallycross activities, we provide once-in-a-lifetime motorsport experiences for these children and youngsters to enjoy, as well as carrying out other fundraising activities that directly benefit those that are under the care of various children’s hospitals across the world.
Our Racing for Good Program is Committed to:
- Engaging with children’s hospitals that are close to the tracks we visit
- Visiting these hospitals with our Global Racing Group drivers to meet the patients, distribute fan gear, sign autographs and take part in fun activities
- Inviting medically fit patients to attend a race meeting as our VIP guest, so they can enjoy the racing action and potentially enjoy an on-track passenger ride in one of our cars
- Driving fundraising initiatives with local charities
